What is Stevia?

Stevia Rebaudiana (Stevia Reb A) is a small perennial shrub that belongs to the Asteraceae family.  The plant is originally native to Paraguay and Brazil but is now also grown in Japan and China.  It is used as a non-nutritive sweetener and herbal supplement.

Stevia is commonly known as candy-leaf, sweet-leaf or sugar-leaf.  It is a small seasonal plant which grows to a height of 1–2 feet.  It has elongated leaves that grow along the stems and are lined up against each other.

Stevia Rebaudioside A 99% is derived from Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni, and is 99% + in purity.  Rebaudioside A is the more potent and pleasant tasting of the two major extracts of the stevia plant, known as steviol glycosides.  Rebaudioside A is widely consumed as a sugar alternative that can be mixed with other sweet natural products, such as honey, maple syrup or any other product where you would use sugar.  It is heat stable and can be used for cooking and baking.

Stevia is a natural sweetener that is 500 times sweeter than sugar.  There is no promotion of tooth decay when using Stevia and there are ZERO calories per serving!  Stevia does not create blood sugar spikes and is safe for those with blood sugar imbalances or sensitive to artificial sweeteners.  This ingredient may be added to foods and beverages or smoothies and green drinks.  It is a pure white powder and has no fillers or binders, additives or preservatives.

All orders being delivered to a PO Box or Parcel Collect that have a total weight of below 22kg will be delivered using Australia Post service.  Any orders weighing 22kg or more cannot be delivered to a PO Box or Parcel Collect, a residential or business address must be provided.

All orders being delivered to metro areas will be delivered with Couriers Please or TNT.

Signature will be required for most deliveries if not advised otherwise.  Please let us know which courier you prefer for delivery and, where possible, we will make every effort to meet your request.

All orders made before 12:30pm will be processed on the same business day.  Orders made after 12:30pm will be processed within the next business day.  Once all orders are processed and ready for despatch, we will update the tracking code on eBay for easy tracking.  Please visit the courier's website to track the parcel.

If you think you might not be at home to collect the parcel and have somewhere safe to leave it, please enter instructions in the 'Instructions to Seller' box when checking out in eBay or alternatively you can update your address details to include ‘AUTHORITY TO LEAVE’ and indicate a specific location.

If you do not receive the products within 5 – 7 business days, please contact the relevant courier company.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with the service provided by the courier company, please contact us via eBay using the ‘Contact Seller’ option and select ‘Other’.  We will gladly help in any way we can.

RETURNS POLICY     

If you have made a purchase and need to return it for whatever reason, we will happily refund the amount for the goods minus any postage costs incurred by the seller (even if you make a purchase with free delivery, there will always be a postage cost to the seller).  Once the package has been returned in its original condition we will then proceed with a partial refund.  Return freight is at the expense of the BUYER.  Returns are accepted within 30 days of payment.   

Returned products MUST be sent to us unopened and unused in their original packaging.

How is this product packaged?  

This product is supplied in resealable stand up pouches.  Therefore, if you select a quantity of 5kg, you will receive either 5 bags of 1kg each or 2 bags of 2kg and 1 bag of 1kg.  Orders of 10kg or more will be packed in a food grade plastic bag and fastened with a zip tie.

All our products are lab tested to ensure the highest quality and purity of the product.  Lab test results are filed in-house and kept securely to comply with HACCP (Hazzard Analysis and Critical Control Point) standards.
