Fibracell material is a sophisticated composite of aerospace materials designed to precisely duplicate the way Nature constructs reed cane. Very stiff but sound absorbing Aramid fibers are suspended in a light weight resin formulation.

Reed Care

• We recommend that you do not sand the reed or clip the reed tip. For an easier playing reed, simply buy a softer strength.
   
• FIBRACELL Reeds are a closed cell material and can be cleaned and disinfected. Use mild soap or detergent.
   
• DO NOT use alcohol or solvents.
   
• Experiment with different ligatures and mouthpieces to find the best combination for you. For larger mouthpiece openings, use a softer reed. Move the reed up or down slightly on the
  mouthpiece to find the place that “sounds and feels” the best.
