106 - Our best seller!  This set of 6 Palm Handled Carving tools has been designed for the beginning carver seeking a descent quality set at a reasonable price.  The blades are made of high quality tool steel hardened to Rc 60-62 allowing them to keep a sharp edge for a long time. The blades are fully polished, buffed and sharpened ready for use.  The Set includes the following:  5/16" bent #8, 5/32" bent V, 9/64"" straight gouge, 3/8" skew and 3'8" bent chisel.

116R - Smaller version of the 117 set.  For simple or detailed work.  Made of high quality tool steel, polished and buffed to sharpened finished and ready for use.  Overall length 5-1/2”, blade length 1-3/4".  Set Includes:  1/4" Gouge, 1/8" Veiner, 1/8" Bent Parting, 1/4" Skew, 1/4" Bent Chisel

OUR STORY

In 1906 our grandfather Donato Ramella immigrated to the United States from Italy in search of the American dream.  In 1937, along with two partners, Donato founded the U.J. Ramelson Company.  UJ. Ramelson quickly established themselves as the leader in quality American handmade carving tools.  The family tradition of excellence continues with third generation owners John and Dan Ramella.  Blending age old traditions, with advanced technologies, our tools are hand forged, heat treated, and tempered by our expert craftsmen.  Today, Ramelson is not only a manufacturer, but also a distributor of many fine tools and supplies.
