THIS ITEM IS A GENUINE ORIGINAL VINTAGE PRINT

Name - The Beheading of a Fair Maiden
Date - Likely the 1734 Edition (various 1731 to 1743)

Comment - These prints were included in the above referenced book on the History of England. Most were a Vignette illustration at the start of each of the “Books” in Volume 2. Some text is on the reverse side of each print. The volume did not reveal any particular name for the vignette illustrations, so I have chosen to try to describe what is in the view. In the early times, there were at least 7 different Kings in various parts of England, as boundaries and land holdings changed through the years.
Type - Copper Engraving, printed on hand-laid paper
Size - about 6.75x9.5"
Condition - Very Nice, a bit of edge toning
