A RARE Surviving Propeller Blade from the Legendary F4U Corsair or F6F Hellcat. I think it also fits some models of the P-47 Thunderbolts as well. This Vintage Original WWII Hamilton Standard 6501A-0 Propeller Blade is in used condition and is being sold in “as is” condition for the collector that wants a rare piece of WWII Military Aviation memorabilia in their WWII collection. The serial number is N498023.

It is made of aluminum and has not been altered or polished but rather left in its natural patina. It is being sold in “as is condition” and is NOT an airworthy propeller blade! It measures 76-1/2” Long x 13” Wide at its widest point and weighs 95 pounds. When I got it, it was covered with a heavy preservative that I cleaned off with thinner. The front side cleaned up very nice but the back side still has some on it. It still has the leading edge de-icer rubber that is the black edge as seen in the photos and there are a couple of pieces of old masking tape on the leading edges (see photo #3). What you see in the photos is what you will receive!

It can be picked up in Dallas, Texas or I can have a wooden box made for shipping at $125. In a wooden box it would probably weigh about 135 pounds. Shipping costs to be paid by buyer.
