Now for your hot rodding pleasure we have mopar 408 crate engine builds for your mopar musclecar, truck or street rod.  These are built on quality castings that have been cleaned, inspected, pressure tested.   All blocks are checked for any damage, and then bored with appropriate torque plate,  Crank saddle checked and line bored if necessary. All blocks are square decked for trueness.After thorough washing block is painted customer requested color, new cam bearings installed, new freeze plugs and screw in pipe plugs installed

*Block is assembled with all new Clevite or King bearings and crank goes in for initial fitting

*After trial fit passes , crank is installed with new Fel pro rear main seal & ARP main bolts

*All new Scat rods with ARP Hardware and Icon forged pistons with valve reliefs for hi lift cam and advertised 10-1 comp w/ full floating pins &  spirolox

*Each rod and piston is trial fitted to ensure perfect fit

*New Hastings Moly ring set- ring gap fitted appropriately for naturally aspirated engine.

*all new Clevite or King bearings for connecting rods with ARP with cap screws

*new stroker windage tray and hardware- not shown

*all new HV72 Melling pump and new pick up appropriately picked for matching pan

*all new oil pan and Fel Pro gasket /seal set

*Comp XE-20-227-4 275/287 dur. and .525 lift - choppy idle but enough vacuum for power brakes(other cams available

*Cloyes tru roller timing set and new cam bolt and washer

*chrome fuel pump block off

*new HP SFI balancer for internal balance (this kit now makes the engine internal balance)

Turnaround time is about 4-5 months , depending on how busy we are, and we don't have a core charge.   All orders are sent LTL freight to a business with an average fee of $495 for shipping/ crating
