- the listing price is for one (1) IN-14 tube
- assume the tube will be missing one or both comma leads, let me know if you need the commas.

- let me know if you need the plastic spacer (used)
- let me know if you have any special requests (tube style, date-code, etc).
- there are several "styles" of these tubes with slight differences, please read below.
- (the tubes pictured are not the actual tubes you will receive, they are a sample)
The tubes in this listing are in EXCELLENT working condition, less than 60% of used tubes make it here.
More details below:
================
1 x IN-14 Soviet Nixie tube. These are USED tubes removed from old equipment. Tubes manufactured in the 70s and the 80s.
-Assume you will get the tubes with >=7mm leads, let me know if you need longer leads. (7mm is long enough if you have SMD LED backlight under the tube, might be OK for 3mm LED, too short for 5mm LED)
-Assume you will get the tubes with missing 'decimal period/comma' leads, let me know if you need them.
Style variations:
Tubes produced after 1979 are the newest style. The most noticeable is the digit "4" variation.
Check picture # 6: to the left is the '76 tube, to the right is '79 tube. In later tubes the horizontal line of digit "4" protrudes past the vertical line. In the earlier tubes the horizontal line is flush with the vertical line.
Also there are several variations of the front grid and the digit spacers color.
IF the style is not specified we will randomly select a matching set of either one type or the other.
The leads might be oxidized and some have an adhesive residue, varnish or solder on them.
The front of the tubes is clear. Many tubes are cleaned with the prints completely removed. The back might be not very clean, might have glue-like coating. It can be easily removed with rubbing alcohol or acetone.
Most of the tubes do not come with the round plastic bases. If you need the plastic bases please let me know and I'll try to include them, but they will be used.
When testing please handle with care and remember to use a current limiting resistor, otherwise the tubes will get damaged.
If you have any preferences, please don't hesitate to message me or leave a note when ordering.
We try to provide you with the best tubes available, and test the following points:
- All working digits
- No cathode poisoning
- Excellent condition of the glass envelope.
- No cracks, no scratches on front of the tube (there might be almost unnoticeable micro-scratches).
However majority of IN-14 tubes have a semi-visible vertical center mark on the inside surface of the tube, leftover from the assembly process.
On some tubes it's more visible, on some less.
- No broken-off drop like tips
- No loose pieces inside the tube (the getter pill, comma plate, etc)
- Minimum lead length 7mm (>0.3 inches)
- We try to match the visual performance of the tubes in the set.
