This is a black velvet painting of a stag by a waterfall. It has a hand carved tiki style of wooden frame. The painting is signed and is from the 1970s. It may have been a souvenir from Mexico because the frame is stamped "hecho en Mexico." It was a very popular thing in the 1970s to visit Mexico and bring back a black velvet painting from a roadside vendor. This is a perfect accent to a retro inspired living room, tiki bar, "den", or "romper room."
This painting is in good condition. It measures 23" high X 19" wide with the frame.
