Product Description

It is the focal reducer / speed booster adapter for Sony / Minolta Alpha (AF) mount lens to Sony NEX E mount APS-C camera bodies.

APS-C sensors magnifies images by 1.5x. The adapter reduces focal length by 0.72x magnifaction to near 1:1 in APS-C cameras, e.g. 50mm x 1.5 x 0.72 = 54mm.

It also allows more light to enter the camera sensor, can reduce exposure time to about 1 stop.

Suitable for most common Sony / Minolta Alpha mount lenses, and can be used by adjusting built-in aperture control ring.
