Artist Kay Johns was born in Hertfordshire, England in 1964.  She spent most of her childhood around horses, riding around the beautiful Chiltern Hills and surrounding countryside.  Always having a house full of pets, and an extreme passion for painting and drawing, painting pets and wildlife was an obvious choice of subject matter.  After attending Watford Art College and a London Art School for a total of four years, Kay achieved a distinction in graphic design/illustration, going on to work for a publisher designing children's books.  Her charming and well observed watercolours of dogs are a recent addition to her portfolio and I just love them.  Ench edition comes in a quality double mount and is board backed ready for framing.  One nice touch is that the dots of paint around the dogs head are in gold paint - really making this edition sparkle.

Condition

Excellent. With no creases, scuffs or bends. I suspect you won't see one in better condition than this one.

Please note that this is NOT a blow up from a postcard, or a reprint, copy, computer-generated print or an inkjet/laser printer copy of the type you may well see offered elsewhere on eBay. It is a guaranteed commercially printed and professionally published fine art print.

Dispatch

Your item will be very carefully packed and posted to you in a proper stout padded postal envelope, complete with stiffener board. Your print will be wrapped in acid free clear bag to protect it during transit and you will also receive a full page of hints and tips on how to look after your artwork, a full biography of the artist, illustrated with a photograph of the actual artist, an illustrated list of some other items I may have available on your breed and an illustrated collectors CAC postcard showing Scarlett, my young Dandie Dinmont Terrier!

Whilst every possible care will be taken with the packing and dispatch of your item, I will be unable to accept responsibility for any items which are posted unrecorded or uninsured and will be posted at the buyers own risk.
