You can buy this mirror for around $30.  But then you would have to find and buy the right primer, paint, and clearcoat. Then you could spend an hour or two sanding, masking, and painting.  Or you can buy this one that is ready to go.  It should only take 5-10 minutes to do the install.  (there are some great youtube videos that show you how to do it).
