These lights were used on the Wirraway, the Australian version of the Harvard Aircraft, I have been told that this light fits behind the “Turtle Deck” just forward of the Vertical Stabilizer. These Unique Light Assemblies came out of a WWII era Aircraft Collector’s inventory many years ago. Under the base, which is 3-5/8” diameter, it has identification marks in raised letters/numbers: “105-C/96”. and “F .T .& R 98-32” plus the “British Crown” symbol surrounded by “A” and “M”. The clear Dome Lens is 2-1/2 inches tall by 2-5/8” diameter which is held in by the knurled lens holder marked ”Ref.105/C8” & ”F. T. & R 98-31”. It takes a 2 pin bulb which is not included.Even though item is in New Surplus condition, buyer is responsible to make sure that this part will work for their application as there is no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied.
