In high performance applications, extractors or exhaust manifolds can get very close to your starter motor and there is nothing worse than lining up to start a race and your starter motor has cooked. The Kool Wrap Starter Motor Shield kit has been designed specifically to protect your starter motor from exhaust and engine bay heat.

You are supplied with a large sheet of insulating and reflecting Kool Wrap measuring 18cm wide x 55cm long. This can be cut to best suit your starter motor. Then secure the wrap with 2 x 400mm stainless steel ties provided.
