TESTED & WORKING 5 TUBE AUTOMATIC VOLUME CONTROL. THIS UNIT IS NOT THE AMP ... BUT A FEATURE THAT WAS USED FOR A SHORT TIME ON THE 1946 AIREON. THIS UNIT IS USED WITH THE AMP ON THE EARLY VERSIONS OF THE 1946 AIREON.

THIS AUTO-VOLUME CONTROL ALSO HAS SOME NEW CAPS. THERE HAS BEEN ONE CHANGE MADE TO THE AMP. THIS UNIT ORIGINALLY USED A FIELD COIL SPEAKER AND HAS BEEN CHANGED TO NOW USE A PERMANENT MAGNET SPEAKER. THOSE TWO WIRES YOU SEE ON THE SPEAKER JACK ARE FOR THE TWO WIRES GOING TO THE MAGNET SPEAKER.
