This is a Polish Bronze Medal of

Bolesław V Wstydliwy (1243 - 1279) 

This bronze medal features Boleslaw V Wstydliwy (the Chaste), Duke of Sandomierz in Lesser Poland from 1232 and High Duke of Poland from 1243 until his death.

Badge: Bronze, 2 ¾ " in diameter, weight: 5 oz.  

Obverse: The bust image of the Boleslaw V, with inscription – BOLESŁAW • WSTYDLIWY • 1243 - 1279.  

Reverse: Historical Polish Eagle image, with inscription ORZEŁ WG PIECZĘCI Z 1255 R. • Z.W. PTTK CHEŁM 1987 Nr 15


The medal is used with some minor spots/scratches on the bronze. Please take time to look over the photos, as they give the best representation to the item's condition.
