Smooth Coat Foam Finish

 

Adds that final dazzling finish to your foam project

Creamy-smooth, white, rock-hard cement-like foam finish. Use directly on foam. Easy to make it look just like wood, stone, metal and bone. Perfect base for creating gorgeous natural tints with acid stains or our StainFast water based stain system. Use indoors or out. Fire, rain, freeze, and sun resistant.

 

COVERAGE 3lbs:
 1/64” thick 36 sq ft
1/16” thick 9 sq ft
1/4" thick 2.25 sq ft

 

Instructions:

MIXING: Mix in a clean container with clean water. Use 2 parts cool water per 5 parts of powder (for example, 2 cups of water per 5 cups of powder). Add water to powder and mix until Smooth Coat turns to a smooth paste.

APPLYING: From 1/32 inch to 1/2 inch. Use a brush or trowel. Try texturing surface before coating sets.

SET TIME: Use within 30 mins. Hard in 1-2 hrs. Max strength and bond in 24 hrs.

FINISHING: Smooth or texture while drying. Sandable. Stain or paint. Add Grit for a rock-like surface.

CLEAN-UP: Clean tools and brushes with clean soapy water before coating hardens.
