250 grams (8.8oz) L-Arginine pure powder, free base form, conforms to US Pharmacopeia (USP) Quality Standard. There is not any additive or filler inside. Assay >99%. It is fresh enough for use. There is 1~1.5 years shelf life available.

Appearance: White crystalline powder. Taste: Characteristic bitter. Solubility: Soluble in water. Store in cool and dry place, keep away from strong light and heat.
Suggested Use: As a pure ingredient to dissolve in water, juice, or mix in smoothie, shake, or formulation, health product R&D (research and development), or any other proper purpose.

General Serving Size: For adult, 1/2 teaspoon of this L-arginine powder (about 1.6 g) with water or juice, 1~3 times daily. You can adjust the serving size for your own purpose, . If you directly consume, you may want to use some flavor or sweetener to mask its bitter taste. 

Free form L-Arginine has a bitter and pretty bad taste in pure powder form which is difficult to mask.  To mask it taste better, you need to neutralize the alkalinity of the L-Arginine with an acid , such as lemon juice.

L-Arginine may benefit cardiovascular system, improvement of immune system and exercise performance. L-Arginine is a conditionally essential amino acid. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Protein is the building block of all living cells. The benefits of L-arginine may be accounted for its role as the precursor of nitric oxide (NO). NO is produced by all tissues of the body and plays very important roles in the cardiovascular system, immune system and nervous system. NO is formed from L-arginine via the enzyme nitric oxide synthase or synthetase (NOS), and the effects of NO are mainly mediated by 3,'5' -cyclic guanylate or cyclic GMP. NO activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase, which catalyzes the synthesis of cyclic GMP from guanosine triphosphate or GTP. Cyclic GMP is converted to guanylic acid via the enzyme cyclic GMP phosphodiesterase.
