Issued with a centerfold, it was printed on high quality thick handmade laid paper with a blank verso (with title and handwritten page number on verso). There are some minor stains around the margins, two tiny wormholes around the edge of margin, and a small (1/2 inch) repaired centerfold separation at bottom. Ample photos [front, back, and details] in high resolution are presented for your convenience of identification and judging its high quality independently. Description: This very nice and important map of French Provinces and historical counties [of Maine, Perche, Anjou, Touraine, and Saumurois] was published in Vaugandy’s Atlas Universel in Paris 1753. Beautifully hand colored in outline and nicely decorated with a large cartouche, it depicted the region (of Northwest France) in great details.
