The Tables include the Squadron and Group Commanders as well as the Air and Combined Air/Ground Aces of the Group.  The 355th finished third behind the 4th and 56th Fighter Groups for the highest number of German aircraft destroyed - air and ground in the European Theatre of Operations, achieved an unmatched record as a top USAF combat unit flying F-105s from Takhli, Thailand and continues the traditions today in the A-10 over Afghanistan and Iraq.
