"BAIGNEUSE" AKA "THE BATHER"

Etching signed in the plate by Raoul Dufy on archival watermarked Arches France paper. Plate measures 22 x 31 cm.  Frame measures 55 x 47 cm.  Original plate created circa 1930.  Based on inspection of the paper, I suspect this artwork was pulled posthumously (after the artist died).  There is no catalog raisonne information on this artwork thus the tirage outstanding is unknown.  Nevertheless, a rare print and based on the paper and lines, an early pull.
