A dangerous secret, an old friendship, and the growing threat of the First Order collide in an explosive new chapter of Poe Dameron's Resistance adventures!
In Star Wars: Poe Dameron #7 (2016), writer Charles Soule and interior artist Angel Unzueta launch "The Gathering Storm," a suspenseful new storyline that places the Resistance's daring starfighter pilot in the middle of a dangerous conspiracy.
Even the legendary Poe Dameron deserves an occasional break from his responsibilities with Black Squadron. But when he reconnects with Suralinda Javos, an old friend who has become a prominent journalist, his brief escape from duty quickly turns into something far more dangerous.
Suralinda possesses potentially explosive information about the First Order, and the forces determined to keep that information hidden are willing to go to extraordinary lengths to silence her.
As Poe becomes entangled in the journalist's investigation, the pair find themselves facing a deadly threat. What begins as a reunion soon escalates into a desperate struggle for survival, with the First Order closing in and the possibility of betrayal hanging over the Resistance.
Meanwhile, the ruthless Agent Terex remains determined to destroy Poe and Black Squadron, raising troubling questions about how the enemy continues to anticipate Resistance operations.
Featuring high-stakes espionage, dangerous aerial encounters, political intrigue, and a mystery involving the First Order, this issue delivers a tense, character-driven Star Wars adventure.
Charles Soule's energetic storytelling is complemented by Angel Unzueta's dynamic interior illustrations and Frank D'Armata's atmospheric colors, creating an engaging blend of cinematic action and suspense.
