This machine is TONEWOOD UKULELE SCU-001"" handmade in Philiping Cebu in November 2008.Furthermore, there is the notation for Hawaiian market, which shows that it is a rare model made for the Hawaiian market. TONEWOOD is not a mass-produced manufacturer, considered an OEM or private brand by a Cebu workshop, and is a rare piece with very little material found today due to its low circulation. High-quality tonewood with beautiful striped heather and shrinking heather appear on the body.As long as you look at the wood grain, sound hole cross sections and body edges, the probability of a total veneer (all-solid) structure is very high, and it is believed that highly rated materials are used at Cebu Island workshops such as mango, Acacia (Asian core), and high-grade Mahogany. Finished with beautiful wood grain spreading symmetrically left and right, both top and back with a book match. The neck adopts a strong scarf joint structure, and after nearly 18 years, you can still see no fingerboard float, major warpage, fret burr, and it is in good dry and age condition. The traditional style of soprano-size (12 fret joint) is equipped with a tie-block bridge similar to classical guitars and a sealed gear peg with excellent tuning accuracy. When it was actually tried on, it was extremely volatile, with the good rise and deep Hibiki unique to a single board, and sustain that stretched comfortably for a long time. After 18 years the wood has been dried and aged enough, it is one that produces the best sound, which makes the entire body sound good even with a light touch. About 18 years have passed since manufacturing and wood is in fully seasoned condition. It is a rare Cebu Handmade Hawaii model that is rarely circulated today, and it is a valuable piece that can be recommended for collection and as a performer.
