Collection of original vintage black and white photographs, appearing to date mainly from around the 1930s to 1950s.

The collection contains a lovely mixture of family and social photographs alongside travel and sightseeing images, with views of impressive buildings, churches and architecture, landscapes, coastal scenes and waterfalls.

There are also some particularly interesting transport and aviation photographs, including aircraft and what appears to be a large passenger or ocean-going ship. Other images show monuments, overseas-looking locations and various buildings and places visited during the period.

Several photographs have handwritten notes or information on the reverse.

Condition

Good vintage condition overall, with age-related wear as expected. Some photographs have light creasing, corner and edge wear, marks, discolouration or fading, and a few have mounting or album residue to the reverse. There is handwriting on the backs of some photographs.
