Description: This is a Walthers HO scale RD4 hopper COMX car set (6-pack) with metal wheels and metal Kadee-style knuckle couplers, all of which give the cars a unique and realistic appearance. I am listing separately 4 more identical COMX car sets, along with lots of other train sets that would go well with this one, and with lots of other trains, buildings, locomotives, accessories, and much more, so see my other listings at the link below, as I combine shipping!!
Condition: This train set is either new or minimally used and remains in fairly good overall condition, with only cosmetic imperfections, including a scratch underneath, a paint chip, glue residue on a brake wheel, and a side ladder detail, but mostly on the steps, along with light wheel markings and shiny spots. These imperfections may possibly be from movement inside the inner case or factory-related, although I cannot confirm this. As a pre-owned set, some parts may be missing, such as a coupler horn, and some original detail parts may have been repaired, such as a side ladder detail, a break wheel, and various steps, replaced or swapped with non-stock components. Other changes may also have been made without my knowledge due to the set's pre-owned condition. For these reasons, this set is being offered as 'Used.' No instructions included (if any were originally provided). The original box shows typical shelf wear, blemishes, scratches, paint chips, dents, wrinkles, tape, stains, a tear, and possible discoloration, yet remains presentable. Despite these imperfections, it is a unique train set and would make a great addition to any HO layout.
Final Note on My Description & Condition: I always try my best to describe the good, the bad, and the ugly of my items; nevertheless, please look closely at the photos using the zoom feature, as they are part of the visual description. That way, you can make your own judgment on the condition of the item so that there are no surprises and so that you know exactly what you are getting yourself, especially since everyone views condition differently.
