Roco 4271 German TEE 1st Class Dome Observation Coach DB Red & Cream - HO Gauge
Superb example of the retro Roco Deutsche Bahn Trans Europ Express / Rheingold type glass dome observation car in classic 1970s/1980s red and beige livery.
five examples of the prototype were constructed in the early 1960s by Wegmann, and deployed on a range of premium and charter services including the Rheingold, Rheinpfeil and Erasumus services.
First introduced into the Roco range in the late 1980s, this is an early example judging by box type, and comes in excellent to near mint cosmetic condition with sticker sheet and original paperwork. The shine on the burnished metal wheel rims indicate it has not seen much usage.
