This is a vintage matched set of two wood keepsake boxes in a bombé, outward-curved silhouette, textured all over in a repeating fleur-de-lis pattern against a dark, gold-highlighted ground. A rope-twist border runs along the rim of each, and both lids are topped with a matching sculpted pineapple-style metal finial. Lifting either lid reveals a glossy red lacquer underside and a fully red velvet-lined interior.

This is a statement set in excellent vintage condition, with a combined weight of approximately 6-7 lbs. The large box measures approximately 11 x 10 x 10 inches, and the smaller companion box measures approximately 7 x 7 x 6 inches.
