Ltd Edition Hornby R059 BR Class A3 4-6-2 Steam Loco 60061 Pretty Polly OO Gauge

Lovely example of the Limited Edition Hornby Class A3 4-6-2 steam locomotive No 60061 'Pretty Polly' in British Railways lined Brunswick green with late crest, German style smoke deflectors and tender coal rails.

This model was a limited edition run of 1,000 produced exclusively for Beatties in 1994.  This example is no. 778 and is in excellent condition in original box with certificate and paperwork.  Box has some damage as shown - these narrower boxes before the move to the larger size loco boxes a couple of years later do occasionally pick up some damage due to the gaps between the inner plastic cradle and the outer box.

Has been track tested and is in full working order.  Tender drive with ringfield motor, being mid-1990s it is one of the better designed of its type so runs smoothly and reasonably quietly with plenty of traction.
