BIOGRAPHY:


Menzinger was born in Mecklenburg, Germany in 1940. He studied both in Breslau and Berlin. During the time he exhibited his paintings very successfully in those cities. After graduating from the art academy in Berlin he took several study trips through Germany, Austria, The Netherlands and France. This gave him a great deal of inspiration and exposed him to many different kinds of art which he has incorporated into his very unique style of painting. He paints mostly landscapes. It is the way he handles light and dark areas and also the way in which he handles color that has so favorably attracted many art collectors. Although he has painted street scenes and still lifes, his landscapes seem to be the most popular subjects. His paintings can be found in many leading art galleries, not only in Europe but also in the United States.
