"A History of the American People" by Woodrow Wilson is a comprehensive historical work presented in five volumes, originally published by Harper & Brothers in 1901/02. This is a first edition. Written before he was US President. He was president of Princeton University.  Volumes 2-5 in very good condition. Volumes 1  is Good with a few defects. The last 4 photos show these. The hinge is cracked. No pages loose. Threads holdinding everything together. There is a previous owners name in pencil near the front. Near the end of the book, 5 or 6 pages have a brown spot.  One of the maps has a short tear. All that in the first volume. The remaining 4 volume appear to be blemish free except the wear on the covers. The spine tops and bottoms have some fraying. Moderate corner bumping. Inside has varying amounts of foxing, probably from the acid content in the paper.  These books will ship USPS Media mail.  Heavy at 13 pounds.
