This rare 1910s “Little Beauties" litho hinged 50 cedar cigar box, measuring 4 7/8" x 8 1/2" x 2 3/8",is in good condition.  Almost all of the binding remains.  The embossed interior lid label is in very good condition with little evidence of wear.  The original paper liner remains.  The hinge is in excellent working order.  There is a slight warp in the lid.  There is a very large piece of tax stamp.  This highly attractive box was designed by Heppenheimer & Maurer Lithographers, Detroit, MI.  It features a detailed, multicolored interior label depicting children in elaborate dress at play on a country estate.  The cigars were manufactured by E. Goldberg Cigar Maker, Kalamazoo. MI in Factory 40, 1st District, MI.
