Tall frosted art glass vase by renowned Australian glass artist Keith Rowe.

It is 34.3cm in height and 14cm in diameter.

Stamped to base with the artist's 'K' symbol.

Born in New Zealand, Keith Rowe was studying photography at art school in Sydney in the late 1970s when he discovered glassblowing and changed course. He gained experience in a glass studio in Sydney and moved to Victoria for a year as an apprentice blower to Nick Mount in 1982. On returning to Sydney he established his own studio in Glebe. In 1990 he moved to Blackheath in the Blue Mountains.

With over 40 years experience and with works held in major public and private collections, Keith Rowe was a pioneer in studio glass, a leading figure in the development of the Australian art glass market and became established as a major Australian artist.
