Up for sale is a pair (two) of vintage hand painted porcelain eggs.  The painting is intricate and high quality and utilizes many colors for the floral design.  There is no maker's mark or signature.

Each of these eggs measures just over 2.5 (two and one-half) inches in length.  Each has a small hole on the back, which was undoubtedly used in the firing process to make/finish the pieces.  If you look closely, you can see that the two eggs, while extremely similar, differ very so slightly in shape and in the size of the hole.  This probably reflects the fact that they were hand made.  These eggs are truly egg shaped and have no flat surfaces on the bottom or the back.  They would probably be best displayed set on an egg stand or similar object.  The auction is for the two eggs only.
