Obverse: ONE DOLLAR – Britannia standing left, holding trident and resting on a shield with the Union Flag, merchant ship in the background, date 1899 in exergue, within a Greek key border. Mint mark B on the centre prong of the trident.
Reverse: Chinese "Shou" (longevity) symbol at centre of an ornamental four-lobed design, with the value "One Dollar" in Chinese characters and in Malay (Jawi script), within a Greek key border.
Edge: reeded. Silver .900 – Weight 27 g – Diameter 39 mm Reference: KM# T5
