Vintage Apple Company Store black Apple logo mocha mug from the historic Cupertino Infinite Loop era.

A particularly subtle Apple collectible featuring a matte charcoal black body, glossy black Apple logo and polished silver tone rim. This black on black version is associated with merchandise sold through Apple’s Company Store at its Cupertino headquarters and is much harder to find than ordinary modern Apple mugs.

Former Apple employees and Company Store customers have documented this black Apple logo mug style, sometimes referring to it as the “black Apple logo mocha mug.” Known examples can have completely unmarked bottoms, as does this example.

The old Apple Company Store at 1 Infinite Loop was famous for selling Apple branded merchandise that was not widely available through normal retail Apple Stores, making surviving pieces especially interesting to Apple, Macintosh and Silicon Valley collectors.

Condition:

Preowned vintage condition. There are visible light surface scuffs and finish marks from normal use, including some marks around the front and Apple logo area. Silver tone rim remains attractive. Bottom is completely unmarked. Please examine all photos carefully for exact cosmetic condition.

A great display piece for an Apple collection, vintage computer collection, Silicon Valley memorabilia collection or office.

Includes the mug shown in the photos only.
