Please Note - We do occasionally have buyers contact us a few days after purchasing saying the Barley products haven't worked...Barley is natural and slow-releases hydrogen peroxide into the pond water, which in turn prevents the algae growth. This process generally takes around two weeks, but will always produce crystal clear water. The water will stay clear for as long as there is a good ratio of barley extract in the water, but once heavily diluted with new water the product will have a lesser effect.
