This rustic vintage French hand painted wooden decoy duck has a traditional solid hand carved body stylised as a common loon with distinctive speckled plumage. The decorative bird has a bold red facial patch surrounding bright yellow inset tack eyes alongside a tapered white beak and a protective orange felt base. It is in good used vintage condition with honest paint wear, light surface scuffs, and minor flaking to the beak tip as shown in the photographs and revolving video. The display piece measures 43cm total length, 24cm in height, with a body width of 14cm and it weighs 1.1kg.
