World War I two-seat Ground Attack biplane of the Deutsche Luftstreitkräfte (Imperial German Air Force).

The JI (Junker factory designation J4) should not be confused with the J.1 which was the world's first all metal monoplane.

This kit represents the Junkers J.I 1917 IdFlieg J-class armored-fuselage ground attack sesquiplane.  The J.I was first all-metal aircraft to enter mass production. It was fifted with heavvy armour 'bathtub' to shield engine and crew against small arms fire over the battlefield.

Very High Quality Model Kit.
