This vintage French wall barometer has ornate sweeping scrollwork and floral details typical of classic Louis XV styling and is made from resin. The central dial is protected by a clear domed lens and shows traditional French weather indicators from Tempête to Très Sec, with a black measuring indicator and a red tracking needle. The back has a metal hanging hook at the top and the metal housing that includes a small calibration screw at the top is stamped with the "modèle déposé" registered design mark. It is in excellent vintage condition with an intact glass face and crisp dial markings, showing just light surface wear as shown in the photographs and revolving video. This decorative wall hanging measures 29 cm high, 15 cm wide, 6.5 cm deep and weighs 480g.
