This ornament is the first in the series of what turns out is a very popular series. From the outside, you see an arched window on a grey brick home. There is flittered snow on the arch, and the ledges and window base. Greenery and multicolored lights with pinecones are framing the upper window under the stain glass arch. The stain glass is a "Sunrise" design with red semi-circles between the rays. On the first window sash is a cardinal with a blue scarf around his neck and a tiny package beside him. Lower is a squirrel looking in through the window. He is wearing a green jacket and cap with a blue scarf or collar around his neck. Beside the squirrel is another red bird with green scarf. There is bird seed on the ledge with bird and squirrel tracks with flitter. "2003" is marked on a plaque under the window.
When you turn the window around you get to see a young girl asleep on a yellow pillow on the arm of a burgundy velvet wing armchair. The chair really feels velvety and sits on an oval resin rug with white trim around the edges, green framing the light blue edge frame of an eight-point yellow star. A bottle-brush green tree with gold star on top, gold wire with gold balls wrapped around it sits to the side. Multiple packages are under the tree with wrap and bows on them. The young lady has auburn short hair a green night gown with white trim, as she curls up in the chair sound asleep.
