This vintage postcard, which on its backside advertises the coming attraction of the 1933 Chicago's World Fair, shows "DOUBLE DECKER MOTOR BUSSES ON LINCOLN PARK DRIVE, CHICAGO" in Cook County, Illinois.

The postcard was postmarked in late July of 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, and sent to Mrs. N. H. Payne in Lubbock, Texas.

Mrs. N. H. Payne was Elizabeth Talitha SMITH Payne (1884-1972) who married Neeley Hardy Payne (1888-1936) and had a family with four children.

After the years the item may show some typical wear, including a torn off postage stamp.
