This is one of the most sought after vases commemorating the wedding of HRH Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer. The front shows a painting of Caernarton Castle in Scotland where Prince Charles was crowned Prince Of Wales in 1969. Most vases, plates, cups, mugs and all manner of memorabilia commemorating the wedding of Charles and Diana show St Paul’s Cathedral making this vase extremely rare. This vase is number. My favorite vases are those with the fan head handles. This is a truly a rare piece of royal memorabilia for any collector. 10-1/4” tall. Approximately 6 inches across.
Queen Elizabeth II RARE Sketch By Famous Artist. Richard Stone The original oil painting this sketch was done for has been chosen by Halcyon Days for several boxes and by the Royal Mail for a postage stamp.
The 11” x 14” ($199.00 value) chalk sketch was taken from a "life sitting" by her Majesty for royal portrait artist Richard Stone. She sat for Mr. Stone who sketched her face and then took hundreds of photographs of her robes and jewels which were then used as reference when doing the original painting.
This sketch copy offered is "by far" the best portrait ever done of Her Majesty!
In 1997 I hand carried the original chalk sketch of Her Majesty from the UK for Richard Stone to be delivered to an American buyer. Richard very graciously granted my request to make a limited edition of sketches. The following sketch is exclusive to Everything Royal.
Each individual sketch copy was taken directly from the "original chalk sketch. . It will "not" be reproduced.
