Tested on mains power and working. The MiniDV tape mechanism loads/ejects correctly and MiniDV tape playback has been successfully tested.

I have owned this camcorder for many years and used it for my own home videos. All of my MiniDV footage has now been transferred and backed up, so I no longer need the camcorder.

It has recently been taken out of storage and tested using the mains power supply.

Tested and confirmed:

• Camcorder powers up correctly
• MiniDV cassette mechanism opens, loads and ejects correctly
• MiniDV tapes play correctly
• Picture playback is working
• LCD screen is working

This could be particularly useful for someone looking for a working PAL MiniDV camcorder to play or transfer old MiniDV tapes.

• Sony DCR-PC110E PAL camcorder
• Mains adaptor/charger
• 2 batteries - suspected not holding charge.
• Official Sony carrying case

The two batteries are old and may no longer hold a useful charge, so they are included on that basis. The camcorder has been tested successfully using mains power.

This is an older piece of electronic equipment. I have described the functions I have personally tested rather than claiming that every function, socket and feature has been tested.
