I've connected this to my Android 15 phone without issues, you can connect through Bluetooth or the wireless USB receiver which came with it (which isn't included until I find it - it got misplaced and got lost). But still it functions with Bluetooth. The remote has many functions and is backlit. The instruction manual is provided, which is quite helpful.
