This recreation-- of IAN AKIN's original cover for Marvel Comics' THE TRANSFORMERS #63 --is hand-drawn in ink by veteran of the comics industry STEPHEN BASKERVILLE (that’s me, folks!). I was the interior ink artist on the later issues of the original Marvel Comics Transformers series in the early 1990s, and many other Transformers comics since then.

Many ‘recreations’ of classic comics covers out there are simply ‘copies’ of the published line art— but I like to interpret the original art in my own inking style rather than just producing a dead, line-for-line ‘tracing’ of it.

That's what makes this unique piece of comic art a one-of-a-kind recreation-- or, as I like to call them-- a ReInkArnation!

PLEASE NOTE: This unpublished cover recreation is entirely hand-inked by me, over a pre-printed ‘blueline’ copy of the published cover art. The only other part of the cover not hand-inked is the logo and ‘trade dress’ which has been pre-printed onto the 240 gsm Bristol board prior to inking.

COMBINED POSTAGE: For UK buyers: As I use Ebay's own postage system for domestic sales; if you are buying more than one page from me, please make sure that you add each item to the basket and pay for them all at the same time. That way, Ebay should count them as a single purchase, so you only pay once for postage.  Otherwise Ebay will count each purchase as separate, making it practically impossible to combine postage-- as each item will have to be sent in its' own package, in order to be covered by Ebay's insurance protection. (For International buyers: To avoid having to rely on my refunding you for multiple postage charges when buying several items that will be shipped in the same package, add all the items you are buying to the basket  and choose 'Request total from seller' at the payment stage, rather than 'Pay Now'. That way I can send you an invoice that takes into account combined postage and only charges you shipping costs on the first of the multiple items you are buying.)  Thanks.
