Up for sale is a highly collectible piece of American automotive history: a First Generation Blue Points Chicago obstruction wrench. This is not the common modern Blue-Point; this is a pre-merger tool from the original Chicago factory before operations were fully consolidated with Snap-on in Milwaukee.

​Finish: Features the original High-Polished Nickel plating. It has a beautiful "warm" vintage shine typical of the 1920s.

​Graphics: The "Blue Points" (with the rare 's' suffix), "Chicago," and "5218" stamps are all deep, crisp, and 100% legible.

​Body: Very clean for its 100-year age. No rust, no pitting, and the recessed panels are in excellent shape. It has minor surface scuffs/scratches consistent with light professional use.

Special Note: There is a small, centered shop mark (dimple) in the letter "O" of "Points"—a classic sign of a mechanic’s personal tool identification from the era.
