Introducing a three-coin series that highlights Canadian species and their habitat, and shows the softer side of nature through an animal’s display of affection.

  • The Polar Bear is a tribute to the polar bear, the most powerful and the largest land carnivore. It is significant to Canadian culture because two-thirds of the world's polar bear population can be found in Northern Canada.
  • The Sea Otter. Featuring an image of two clever, cute and curious, the sea otters, a marine mammal that's endemic to Canada's Pacific Coast.
  • The Fox Fine Silver Coin is a tribute to one of Canada's most common and most loved mammals: the fox.
