Vintage die-cut advertising postcard from the historic El Cortez Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Features an unusual metallic gold treasure chest and coin design with a woman holding an “El Cortez” sign and the slogan “The Cordial El Cortez – Your Treasure Chest – Las Vegas.”

Reverse reads “Hotel El Cortez (Completely Remodelled and Restyled), Las Vegas, Nevada” with a 3¢ stamp box. Unused and unposted.

The El Cortez opened in 1941 and is one of the most historic surviving hotel-casinos in downtown Las Vegas. This colorful die-cut promotional piece appears to date to the late 1950s/early 1960s period.

Condition shows light age and handling wear, including surface scratches/scuffs and small areas of finish loss. Unused. See photos for details.
