Antique primitive sheep shears with a distinctive hand-forged iron construction and spring-style ring handle.

These traditional shears feature long pointed blades that come together when the handles are squeezed, with no central pivot. The compact approximately 8½" size and simple forged construction make these an interesting example of an early agricultural hand tool.
