Willow Tree by Susan Lordi – Four Piece Figurine & Keepsake Collection

A mixed collection of four Willow Tree pieces by Susan Lordi, comprising three identified figurines together with a small oval mother-and-child keepsake / trinket box.

The collection includes:

Mother and Son
A large standing figure depicting a mother embracing her young son. This design was introduced in 2002.

Angel of Prayer
The smaller kneeling / praying angel with dark wire wings. This design dates from 1999.

Angel's Embrace
An angel figure holding a small child, complete with the characteristic metal wire wings. This design was introduced in 2002.

Mother & Child Keepsake Box
A small oval Willow Tree-style keepsake / trinket box featuring a mother and child design to the lid.

The exact title and issue of the keepsake box have not been positively identified, so no specific model attribution is being made for this piece.

Willow Tree was created by artist Susan Lordi in 1999. The collection is known for its simple faceless figures, restrained colouring and expressive body language, with themes centred around family, friendship, remembrance and relationships.
