Originally released as part of the NERF LMTD Star Trek set alongside the larger Starfleet Type 3 Phaser, the Type 2 is considerably less common to find offered separately.

This example has been repainted by hand in metallic silver, grey and black tones, giving it a much more detailed screen-prop / sci-fi collectible appearance while retaining the original Nerf body and design.
